RFID tag buyer FAQ

From tag selection to samples, quotation and delivery: the details that help you make a buying decision, and the terms we confirm for each order.

Is Antenza a tag factory?

Antenza is an RFID tag and inlay supplier based in Jiangsu, China. Tags are produced with an ISO 9001-certified production partner; we handle engineering support, sampling, testing, quality control and export. See how we work.

What is the difference between a dry inlay, wet inlay and label?

A dry inlay is the antenna and chip construction. A wet inlay adds adhesive and a release liner. A finished label also has printable face stock. One antenna may be supplied in several ordering formats; finished dimensions, materials and roll requirements are confirmed in the specification.

Should I choose UHF, HF or NFC?

UHF is commonly used for longer-distance reads and bulk inventory. HF / NFC suits close-range interaction; phone compatibility depends on the chip protocol, phone and application. Tell us about your reader, surface and workflow. Browse products and the finder.

Can I apply a standard inlay directly to metal?

Metal usually reduces the performance of a standard inlay applied directly to it. Evaluate an on-metal label with a spacer construction and test it on your actual asset. Explore on-metal RFID tags.

Are the published read ranges guaranteed?

No. Read range is a reference value and depends on the reader, antenna, power, regional band, tagged material and environment. Validate it on your equipment and items before volume purchasing. Agree test conditions in the order if you need an acceptance criterion.

Can I request samples first?

Yes. Name the products, or describe the surface and read distance, and we send samples of the shortlisted designs. Sample quantity, any cost and shipping are confirmed in writing before anything ships. Request samples.

What is the minimum order quantity?

It depends on the chip, the antenna design, the format (dry inlay, wet inlay or label) and any printing or encoding. Send your annual volume and we confirm the MOQ in writing within 24 hours. Samples for testing are handled separately from the MOQ.

What are the sample and production lead times?

Lead time depends on chip supply, the format, printing or encoding, and the quantity. Every quotation states a confirmed lead time, and if a chip is on allocation we tell you straight away and suggest an alternative.

Do you offer printing, encoding and OEM packing?

Printing, encoding and packing can be specified for the chip, construction and project. Supply your artwork, printer details and data rules; approve the specification and sample before production. See custom & OEM services.

Which quality and compliance documents can I request?

Ask about product specifications, chip datasheets, batch test summaries, the production partner’s ISO 9001 certificate and RoHS / REACH declarations for the ordered materials. Availability is confirmed per order. See quality & production.

What should I include in an RFQ?

Include the target surface, label footprint, frequency, reader, target read distance, format, estimated annual volume and target date. Add a product SKU, drawing or test result if available. An engineer can help with any details you have not decided yet.

How are price and shipping terms agreed?

Price depends on the chip, materials, converting, quantity and freight terms. The written quotation confirms the specification, quantity, costs, lead time, packing and trade terms. Website content is not an order quotation.
