Test RFID tag samples on your own items

Request a catalogue design, or let an engineer shortlist options for your materials, equipment and read requirements. Quantity, any cost and shipping are agreed before dispatch.

Tell us what you need to test

Add a SKU if you have one, or describe the surface, read distance and equipment. “Samples” is already selected as the inquiry topic.

From sample request to an approved design

  1. 01

    Describe the test

Share the SKU or application and the questions you need the samples to answer.

  2. 02

    Agree the sample plan

Confirm candidate designs, quantity, any cost, timing and the courier arrangement.

  3. 03

    Test & share results

Test on your own items and equipment. Record the conditions and results, then share any gaps.

  4. 04

    Approve the specification

After validation, agree the specification and sample as the reference for quotation and volume production.

Make the sample test answer real questions

Published read ranges are reference values and depend on the reader, antenna, power and tagged material. Compare candidates under the same conditions.

  • Use the actual surface and mounting orientation
  • Record reader, power, band and antenna position
  • Check single-item reads and the real bulk-read workflow
  • Validate printing, encoding and adhesion requirements
Review volume production & quality checks

Frequently asked questions

Are the samples free?

Yes. Name the products, or describe the surface and read distance, and we send samples of the shortlisted designs. Sample quantity, any cost and shipping are confirmed in writing before anything ships. Request samples.

Can I request samples without a product SKU?

Yes. Tell us the surface, available size, reader and target read distance, and we can shortlist candidates. You may leave the product field empty.

When will the samples ship?

Lead time depends on chip supply, the format, printing or encoding, and the quantity. Every quotation states a confirmed lead time, and if a chip is on allocation we tell you straight away and suggest an alternative.

Can samples be customised or encoded?

Describe the construction, printing or encoding you need. We first confirm feasibility, data rules, sample cost and timing. Custom samples may have different terms from standard catalogue samples. See custom options.
